A world to explore. A clear path to connect.
A custom website for April Rucker, The Lantern, bringing her brand into an immersive 3D world with session booking, an integrated store, and a searchable content library.
The brief
April needed a digital home that felt unmistakably hers without sacrificing usability. The experience had to communicate her world, guide visitors through her work and make it easy to book, explore content and shop.
Three portals introduce the main paths: About, Services, and Bookings.
Useful beneath the surface
The website connects OnceHub session booking, a Shopify storefront, and CMS-managed Fireside content. Visitors can browse meditations and products, choose a booking method, or search articles and videos by content type and topic.
OnceHub booking stays within the site’s visual setting.
The store brings April’s products into the same visual world.
Balancing atmosphere and clarity
The challenge was giving the experience room to feel unusual while keeping essential actions easy to find. I paired expressive scenes with readable content, recognisable controls, and responsive layouts. The booking interface remains familiar; Fireside uses filters and search to help visitors find something specific.
Fireside combines articles and videos in a searchable library.
The delivered experience
The result is a live website that gives April’s brand a distinct digital home, connecting exploration with services, booking, products, and ongoing content. It shows the kind of work I enjoy most: shaping the idea and building the experience as one continuous process.
